Tonight we will be performing track maintenance. Unfortunately due to the weather we had last night we were not able to do any of the much needed work. The schedule over the next 2 weeks consists of the following:
- Drag and prepare the track tonight.
- Continue any work that is not completed tonight, sometime Saturday.
- Have an open practice day on Sunday for racers getting ready for the Nitro Tour. THIS PRACTICE IS OPEN TO ALL DRIVERS NOT JUST NITRO TOUR RACERS.
- The week of July 23rd we will be working on the track to prepare for the Nitro Tour stop on July 29th. If anyone is available to help, contact myself or Johnny. Keep checking back here for updates on work nights.
- Friday July 27th we will have a regular race night starting at 8pm.
- Saturday July 28th we will be having a warm up race for the PA Nitro Tour. Practice will start at 3pm with racing at 6pm. Depending on what time we get done the track may be open for practice after the racing is complete.
- Sunday July 29th we will be hosting the PA Nitro Tour :tire: :tire:
The following week we will be returning to racing on Friday August 3rd starting at 8pm.

Gas prices are getting rediculous around here. Yesterday it was 2.14 today it's 2.04. I heard last night a station had it for 1.80 a gallon.

rj14 has been asleep when we get gas as usual, gas is about 2.80 - 2.70. I don't know where Tom S is but I'd like to find his local gas stations.
Phil, is there plenty of room for my motorhome this weekend?

Glenn - there is plenty of room for a motorhome at T&L so no need to worry.
Tom was correct with the gas prices. We had a couple of stations locally that decided to wage a price war. I think the prices dropped as low as $1.90 a gallon before WaWa decided to bow out of the war for public safety. People were going crazy to save a few cents on fuel, and ended up in physical confrontations due to the savings. Anyway prices are now back to normal.

Heck I'm asleep all the time! Why do you think I wear my sunglasses 24-7? That way no one knows if I'm awake or sleeping. Because you sure can't tell by the way I drive on the stand!:ha:

Did you have to come off the driver's stand and confront any of the drivers yelling at those who weren't doing anything wrong?!?!!?!!

OK here's the short story, I was working on a Toro Rear engine rider at work, trying to get it started...... I pulled the pull to check spark, and the cylinder must has been "LOADED" with fuel, a Fireball like a cannon came out and hit me all over my left arm, and some of the burning gas dripping onto my left leg.......... I took off running like a chicken without a head!.... after a few seconds I ran towards the hose, and I heard my buddy yell "drop & roll" so that's what I did and he got the hose running and put me out. I've got 2nd degree burns over 20% of my body...... they called 911 which took about 15 minutes to show up, they then cut off my cloths and poured something like peroxide all over the wounds rapped me up and took me to Cooper's in Camden, the doctors there determined I was was to bad for there facility and contacted Temple Burn Center.......The next thing was the wait for the Helicopter, then a air lift to Temple's Burn ICU..... after a couple of day there I told the physical therapist, I had a big RC race to go to this weekend.... they told me they'd get me out, and just be real careful........... so I got out Wednesday afternoon, work on my truck last night, going back to Temple to have all my dressing changed this morning..... and I should see everybody tomorrow!...........
JohnnyO.....
PS Quick Warning, I tried driving yesterday, and on these pain meds my line is off a little, so any body in my heat, I'll apologize now in advance if a cause any problems
