i have a feeling this is a lost cause, but i'm looking for an old rcca mag. that came out in late 89, early 90. it believe it was a "special" issue deicated to only pancars/on road cars. cars like the rc10l, trc pro 10, hyperdrive 10, bolink eliminator, advanced technologies agitator, etc. there was also a buyers guide in it, and a couple custom build-ups that the editors did. if anyone has this issue, i would like to buy it, or borrow it. maybe even just get a couple things scanned out of it. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Try Ebay. They usually have them mags on there for sale.

I was going thru my mags tonight, and I have all of the 89 mags. I wish I knew what month you were looking for.

That was not a normal monthly issue. Occasionally RCCA (or RC Add Action as some of us call it) has had a handfull of special issues over the years. Dirt oval, Paved oval, Monster trucks etc...

the only date that's on the mag., i have found out, is spring 1990. it was a special issue, as mentioned above. also, there is 2 1/4 scale stock cars on the front cover. i done up like waltrips tide lumina, and the other is done up like tim richmond's folgers monte carlo ss. it says "stock cars" in big, bold, red letters across the cover, too.

i found a guy in australia that has it, but he seems apprehensive to ship it to me to borrow. and he doesn't want to sell it. i asked him if he would scan a couple things out of it for me, but he doesn't have a scanner.

1990? I will look to see if I have that one. You said spring, but I thought they were monthly mags after 88. I could be wrong. It happens alot.:):):) I am on my way to bed. I have to work late tonight.

like brad said, they made special issues during the years. quarterly, i guess you could say. spring, summer, fall, and winter. the one i'm looking for happens to be the spring 1990 issue. this is the biggest reason that i'm having trouble finding it. even if you had a subscription back then, you wouldn't automaticly get it in the mail. you either got it from a hobby shop, or bought one from rcca.
