I have a buddy that is wanting to race. he has a 18mt and is need of new and better battery's. Lipo's are out for now. who makes or has some good nimh packs he is running stock right now but mamba is in the works but it will be a couple of weeks. any advise you can give as I know nothen about 18th scale battery's.

I run elite 1500 mah packs, they have a ton of punch and last a pretty long time, although I have had problems with a few bad cells. I have also heard that the IB 1400 cells are good and are more reliable, although I havnt ran them. My 1500's handle my 8000kv Tekin brushless great though!
