Redneck RC Racing This Thursday, 6/28/07

Redneck RC will be holding its weekly dirt oval racing this Thursday. We will begin racing at 7-7:30. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to call the shop at 315-532-6826.


Also, begining next Monday, we will begin racing on the asphalt onroad track, with the first heat starting at 7pm. We will run 19T 1/12, TC, 1/18th, Nitro TC and 1/10 electric trucks.

Entry fee = $5 per class.

Thursday??? I thought you guys were running the dirt oval on Fridays? Is this a one shot deal, or is this now the regular schedule? Oh and about the other thread, racing at the fort during harborfest! Is this to be on the tennis courts or the parking lot?? Is electric available or is it byo? Thanks

Bring your own electric to the Fort... It will be held at a parking lot on the top of the hill. The tennis courts are now an enclosed parking lot full of junk.

We are trying the Thursday night deal because we have had several requests for it, and Calvins son has a big moto-cross race this weekend, however we didnt want to cancel racing 2 weeks in a row. As it stands, it sounds as if we will be having quite a large crowd. Feel free to bring the sprint, not sure if we'll get any or not, but we do usually have a field of trucks!

If the turnout is good, we will continue to run Thursdays.

As you have NOTICED, NO ONE is racing anymore! How about we race on SAT Nights?

I say we take a vote on it. You moved the racing to Friday, I got fridays OFF, after 2 weeks (I raced one) you moved it to THURSDAYS, Now I as well a Chris R CAN'T race anymore.

Let the RACES decide the BEST RACE day.

Actually Dan, last thursday was our biggest turnout yet. Racing all over is down this summer, not just at our outdoor track, but all over. So far, I believe Chicos is getting the biggest turnout. Last week we moved racing to Thursday because Calvin was not able to stay Friday night due to his son having a big MX race to go to. Also, we are not moving racing to Saturday nights because that is the night Chicos run, and we are not going to compete with another somewhat local track, which is why was also do not run on Wednesdays (Fingerlakes runs that night). The idea behind that is to not make racers choose which track to run at on a given night, and give them the opportunity to run several times a week if they so choose.

You should truck on up I-81 some Saturday night and give our track a whirl. We have been getting a pretty decent turnout of cars and trucks weekly. We start our races at 6:30pm weekly and this week we have our annual Firecracker Special with twin EDM A-mains along with a bonfire party planned afterwords. hope to see you out sometime.
