I want to thank everyone for coming out for the Season Finale. We had breakfast, lunch, watched the Le Mans race, F1 US GP, and the Cup Race.. There were some great Main finishes by only a bumper or just a little more but a battle until the very end!
I have posted the final results. We have a couple of ties. Ties are broken by most highest finishing places. or in essence, you start with who has most 1st, then most 2nds and on... So Ronnie Powell takes 7th in 8th LM because he had a higher finish than Johnny Parton. In 2wd LM Troy Pirez Sr beats Curtis Book because he had more 3rd places. Congratulations to Troy Robinson on taking 2wd/4wd Late Model and Sprint, Greg Derenthal in Stock Car, Wes Powell in 8th scale Late Model, and Chris Lee for EDM/Truck. Those are your 2007 FDOS Champions. Now take a few months off and be fresh to defend your titles for 2008!
The Series Banquet information will be announced soon. Its looking like Quaker Steak and Lube in Pinellas, good food, good atmosphere. We have raffles for our Sponsors donations and of course the payouts.
We must remember to give thanks and support to our sponsors local and far.
SS Raceway & Hobbies, Slick Zero, Hulsberg Grafix, Custom Paint by Wildmann, Kipp's Hobbies, Custom Works R/C.
I must also thank the tracks for giving us places to race: Lil Dover 2, SS Raceway, Joe/Darrell doing the Speedline Hobbies @ Quaker Steak and Lube, NewRed Hobbies.
Points are available on http://www.fldos.org and race 6 results http://www.newredhobbies.com/results/2007/06-17-2007/
