On Sunday August 12th the Pa Nitro Tour is going to be running an event at Willow Mill Speedway in Mechanicsburg Pa! This will be a non-points event but will be used as a test event for a possable points event for next season. More details on this race will follow in the next week or so as we work things out with the track. This event will be an open tire rule race due to the track being asphalt.

This race is something that we all have talked about in great detail over the last year and a half........ George V. and I have had several talks this season about doing something like this and the tour committee talked about it at our last meeting...... I know it is a touchy subject for some with the tire rules however we feel that it will be good to add a little variety to the tour and doing it this way (without points ) seems to be a good way to atleast get a feel for what the racers want for next year. We apperciate the feedback we get from you guys as racers to help us point the tour in the right direction.

It was a blast last time we ran nitro sprints there. Couldn't wait to get another chance to run that place.

George said pinks or purples work well there ..............in Rad tires that is probably rad B or rad C compound:D

I ran there a couple of weeks back w/ my electric sprinter. I used purples up front w/ magentas on the rear. if you elect to run pinks better go stiff, traction rolling will occur!:ha:
I abused my rf because i was too soft in spring set-up.
oh yeah, and you don't have to groove them!
I'm ready.

im going on my 3rd yr on my rad c's that where given out the 1st time george had a nitro race.1st year we ran Bryan Boyd and myself ran newville night before and still had our dirt setups on..changed tires, gear and stiffer spring we wernt to bad.
Lets keep the wings..50mph on the straights need some down force-lol

The "B's" will work on the truck. It might be a little rough on the right front, but with enough camber, they shouldn't cone too bad. Plus I don't have any "C's" on truck wheels. Never had any need for them. :tire: :tire:

2 QUESTIONS-
1) Did George get the upgrade to run personals up and going?
2) Since this is an open tire race, does this mean I can run caps?:D
Thanks

LMAO!!!!
I love getting you guys worked up!
C'mon I have a hard enough time just using an air compressor to clean my car off. Do you really think I am going to take the time to make a set of capped tires.:ha:
I don't think so.
But seriously-
Henry is the system updated? I know George mentioned something about it when I was there.
