dan, check redneck. that looks alot like a savage fuel tank if not a tank is a tank is a tank. u might have to modify it to mount it in the chassis and all is does is hold fuel.

Hello,
I just yesterday sideswiped a curb and my gas tank flew of tearing it off the mounts. I went to the hobby store today and grabbed this one off the shelf. All you have to do is mount it sideways. It mounts on of the the slots already in the tray on the right side and just drill a small hole for the other side. Here's pic;

what tank did you buy to replace the one that broke?

It's a Traxxas part# 3148X and it's a 75 CC tank. I think the stock one is 85 but I don't see any difference in size.

looks like the other tank is a little bit taller but i dont think that matters either. u just have to fuel it a little bit more.

It is actually a little taller but there's plenty of room in there. If the OP wanted to play around he could even try a bigger tank.

I would rather have the ORIGINAL TANK if I could. So far NO LUCK though...
