OK I was wondering if the pinion gears for the Mini vehicles would be usable for the CW DD cars (48 pitch). I see that many of these pinions are 48 pitch and they have a wide selection of sizes available (8 tooth, 9 tooth, etc...).
Thanks

If you are talking about the pinions used on 1/18 cars and trucks, the answer is no. Thet have diffrent shaft sizes. The best 1/18th pinions I have found so far were Robinsons

Not only do they have different shaft sizes, they are a metric pitch, not 48pitch english.

Get ahold of Charlie at Tea's hobbies, I know try used to have 8 and 9 teeth pinions. The 8's are very brittle. You can call him at 1-800-503-TEAS.

If your looking for very low tooth count pinions I know PRS makes them down into the single digits.
