Just wondering if or when the GBX car or chassis like Phil Cooper is running might be available?

Thanks for the replies. Good time to buy a Putnam Pro Car. At least he runs what he sells.

Easy Guys,
The prototype car that Phil is running now is exactly that, a prototype. It was built last year as a test bed for new and future ideas that we want to try. Obviously the plan would be to produce a kit one day but its not as simple as cutting a chassis and bolting a nose plate to it. The car is completely different from our current car in many ways. If we produced the car as it is right now it would be A)very expensive and B)probably not exactly what we or you would want. It is still a work in progress and as soon as a final design has been approved we will begin producing the car. For us to put a time frame on that would be irresponsible as the true decision to produce the car will be "when it is right". Most of you have been around this hobby long enough to see the flack that comes with announcing a new product or kit and than not having it available for several months or years. We are not trying to hide anything from anyone just trying to keep the hype down for something that is still in the works. As soon as we have a time frame or something to announce differently from what I have told you we will certainly let you know about it.

As far as terminators dominating up north, thats pretty much been the case since I first built that car almost 20 years ago. Nothing new there, LOL.

Thank you for your interest.

I am happy to say I have a CW Enforcer Pro, probly one of the last ones sold in kit form. Love this car, and will never get rid of it. I also own a GSX Enforcer, and just ordered a GSX Intimidator. What ever the car is, it will be well worth the hours of testing and the wait, as CW race cars are top shelf!

My theory on the proto-type cars is;

There will always be someone, somewhere with a faster car that's done just as much testing if not more. Look at the "GetBack" chassis. 90% of us in NY have a Terminator...now you just buy a few extra parts and your whooping on the DC1's and running with the Putnam Pro-Cars.

I currently run a Enforcer10 and hang with if not whoop on the GBX cars. The CDK sprint is hands down a more stable and smooth car, yet availability screws that up for the rest of the USA. What I'm trying to say...this months chassis will be outrun by June or July's upgrade, kinda like batteries...lol
