Since you are allowing the Novac 13.5 brushless, and I don't know much about electric's, what esc's are you allowing. Will the GTB esc be allowed with this motor?

I just did some reasearch and the GTB is a recommended speed control for that motor. hope this helps.
On another note. Since the 13.5 brushless system is going to be allowed in the small block class, does that mean that the guys that dont wanna buy a brushless system and just stick with the stock 27T motor doesnt have a chance on winning unless someone with a brushless breaks?

I've just updated the SB rules to elaborate on ESCs. The following ESCs are allowed: Novak Super Sport, Novak GTB, LRP Sphere.
The 13.5 motor is being touted by Novak as equal to a 27 turn stock motor. If it proves out that the 13.5 has a distinct advantage over the stock motors, I will require added weight to the brushless cars. The brushless motors becoming a "must have to be competitive" is exactly what I do not want to happen, and I will not allow it to happen.

Thanks. I don't mind carrying extra weight if needed. I think you will find that the 13.5 might be a little slower than the 27t motors for the guys that are good at tuning them up. In any case I think they will help with new racers.

I am looking forward to racing my stock brushed motors against the brushless guys, especially at Radio Hill...;)

What size and condition (?) of the track. Have been to Bumps with nitro but have not had my electric EDM ready yet. Might come up and get all beat up.

ok,
I see all this small block, big block... Would someone be so kind as to explain to me what the classes are at Radio Hill and what the rules are??? I checked the website and it seems untouched since I looked at it last year.
I had thought about running up there this winter. I've got a Traxxas Rustler. Can be run stock or mod. or (Brushless) if a Mamba system is allowed? 5700kv Motor? Tires, body? All the stuff I'd need to know.
Thanks.... Sean

Brushless motors are heavier than brushed motors.

The rules at RHR are pretty much the same as WDRA rules, which can be found elsewhere here. The difference between Big Block & Small Block is driver skill level: Big Block=expert, Small Block=intermediate. RHR also has a Sportsman (novice) class. Trucks I believe are limited to stock motors and must use foam tires.
