maybe it was posted earlier and I missed it, but I will ask anyway.
What's the problem with the wheel spacers?

the slot the drive pin goes into is machined crooked... its deeper on one side than the other, so when u tighten the wheel it makes the wheel crooked

Larry: We have corrected that, tell whoever still has them in stock to send them back so we can replace them. Thanks!

I gotta check mine out. I was blaming the wobble on bad wheels.

I have a bad set here had that problem, do we have to return them to our LHS or can we send back to CW?

You can US mail them back to CW and we will replace it. Basically the back slot was milled out of square on the back of the spacer, pretty easy to see once you know what the problem is.

Thank You Arnie for getting back to me. They are in the mail along with a copy of this page and a brief description of the issue.

would that make them bend the drive pins.when i toke the spacer off the pins were bent toward thr chassis.

I would guess that bent pins are a result of overtightening and improperly shimmed axles. Although if you're using the wheel spacers with the defects they could surely be a culprit also.

Smith20: I agree 100% with with what MWmomo said. You can tell really easily if you look at the spacer if the slot was milled on an angle, there was no inbetween when the jig slipped and the machine kept digging. Also if you don't have enough spacers behind the pin, it will bend/break when you bump the wall.
Usu I leave no spacers on the inner side of the bearing carrier, I put all the spacers on the outer bearing side and add them to the point where when the wheel is tight and the wheel nut is tight on the wheel, the axle has a hair of play side-to-side and the wheel spins freely. Too many shims the wheel will load on the shims and load the bearings and the wheel won't spin well and your bearing life will go straight down. Not enough shims, there is alot of play side-to-side, pins bend, and if not enough shims are there the pin will actually get into the bearing carrier itself.
Hope this helps!
