Entered race, received my Hand Out Motors for Stock Sprint and EDM Classes but had to leave on Wednesday am. Never got to try my motors. So, what are they based off of? I don't get to race much at all. Help.

Cecil,

Saw your post floating around, thought maybe someone would have answered it by now. Rob and I both can not remember which Trinity stock motor it is. Todd Putman may remember if he has not overdosed on Scooby Snacks yet. Sorry for no help, if I remember or hear I'll post it to you.

You been running at all with the Rusty joker?

Hi Arnie,

Ya, I thought that one of the seasoned Stock class racer would have posted long ago. Heard nothing till now.

Haven't seen that Rusty aka "Joker" since the week before the Bud Shootout. I do undeerstand about his working life style. Not home much accept Tuesday and Wednesday. I guess that's the price you pay to work for NASCAR. What a life!!! to be able to hang out with Tony and other NASCAR stars on your WORK days. He really enjoys his work and is a PRO at what he does. SMILE :) !

Cecil,
Its the Snowbird stock motor handout which is based off the Monster. They are probably the best handouts out there. I race mine weekly.

Hope all is well on the East Coast.

The motors we used at the Open Wheel race are Monster Based stocks. The Purple Endbell/Chrome can is nothing more than an epoxy balanced Monster Stock.
The setup I used to TQ/Win in 2006 was our EFB-180 brushes with a .078 Cavity drilled in the center of each, (largest hole on our brush drilling jig).
Red Springs, break in with Top Fuel Comm Drops, (huge improvement) and dyno. Rollout for EDM was 1.35-1.48 depending on the motors RPM and where it's power band was. I use our Top Fuel Comm drops during the race as well.

This is the same brush setup I have used to win the last 5 Open Wheel Champs.
