GSX Width Question?

O.K., I've got a silly question. When putting together a Nitro Intimidator GSX by the book, why is it wider than an Electric Intimidator DD/GBX? Do the Nitro cars traction roll from extra speed, and need the extra width for stability? Or are they wider to work better with the different weight distribution of the Nitro Components? Thanks!

GSX cars are wider in stance versus their electric counterparts mainly b/c of the extra weight (keep from traction rolling) and to create stability with the power of nitro motors.
