They don't make a Pro-Comp kit anymore. It was an optioned up direct drive car (no RC10 B3 gearbox), and originally came with Delta shocks, and a center-battery layout.

The GBX (gearbox) car is the only thing you can buy new today. It's what most people race.

The website shows old kits that are out of production. The CW site shows Dominators, too, but you can't buy those either. I know they are working on a new site with a total update to their parts list.

If you see one on the boards for sale, it's probably used and definitely a fairly old car. I don't remember the last new Pro-Comp kit I saw sold.

There are a few threads in here and on HobbyTalk that discuss the differences between the GBX cars and the old DD kits. Most will tell you that the GBX cars will be faster just because of the increased adjustability over the older DD cars which had very few ways of changing car setup. The current crop of gearboxes are very free and have little drag in them. The DD cars had other inherent issues like difficulty gearing hot mod motors, and a raised rear driveline at aggressive angles towards the rear axles. They were fast, but a GBX will give you a better shot at being consistently quick.

I'm sure Rob or Arnie can expound on this...
