There was a McAllister Corvette Wedge and a strange looking Corvette Wedge made by Andy's. There may have been one made by Bolink, too. There might have been a Corvette put out by Premier, too (the one with the supercharger sticking through the hood), but I can't recall if that was called a Vette or not.
Do you recall which one it was?

Ross those rims look like the Advance Engineering rims ...two bolt pattern they also made three bolt pattern to fit the MRC tires you seen on Roy Moody's Sprint car. The Man who Owned Advance Engineering Had the Exclusive distributor's rights for the MRC tires back then. Correct me if I am mistaken.
Cool pic Ross:D

Advance Engineering sounds familar... but i dont remember what they made... i like the rims though! looks like aluminum slots.. the only rims i had like that had YZ/custom works adapter hubs...i think thats what they were... two bolts on a diamond shaped hub...

I'm sure Gary McAllister could answer you with more detail, but those wheels look like Losi RPS aluminum slots on a Yokomo Dogfighter (YZ834), wrapped in Proline rear waffles. That's definitely the Yok/Dom bolt pattern on there with the hub poking through the wheel face.
I've been searching for that exact wheel for the SRP-1 for many years... :(
Wish I could get my hands on one of those McAllister Outlaw Vettes, too.

if gary still has the mold i'm sure he would make the vette for those interested.

Doug I used to have a set of those rims....had it on a nascar (proto form) and the reason I said I thought they might be Advance engineering was because I bought my set from Advance with the larger aluminum rims three bolt pattern as well...I also bought a full box 100 sets of the same kind roy had on his sprint cars that were plastis slot rims. I wish I could remember his name but Advance was out off Oklahoma I believe. But you could be right ...maybe he copied them from Yokomo.:) PS infact check out the eartern dirt modified that won third in Car Action of the year in the vintage thread..that var not only has the MRC tires but it has the slot aluminum rims.
