Unless my memory has failed me (and it does a lot lately), Doug Wolfgang drove that orange #8.

lol Ross you know I always thought the same thing as well but Alan Lane from A&S used to call me Proff...all because I used to wear a smock while racing at his track...he said I looked like a crazy proffesor...lol:D

A side note for the trivia buffs...that sprint body on the number 8 was the first sprint body Dale Epp from then Proto Form moulded for my cages back then in 92:eek: As he was from the same City as I was and I met him at a Modified dirt track one night and he seen my cars and asked me if I wanted to do his "proto form logo" for him and the rest was history.

Doug was my fav world of outlaw driver and I know he gave his counter parts fits...because of his fantastic abilities as a driver. I was saddened after the fire crash.

YES you are both correct! it was my first guess to! although Gary gave me the hint of the driver with burnt hands!...if i remember right there was a big deal about his burns, he sued the race track for not putting out the fire in time..something like that... and the track closed down... i think he drove without gloves...but what a driver!

I thought it was the fire extinguisher that ended his career....something about getting too much of the chemicals in his lungs....Of course the burns didn't help either but I thought it was the chemical burns from within....I drew up a picture of him in school once...I wish I could find it....had his car and his face in pencil...

Thanks Gary,
I think I took the picture right when I brought it back from your place.
The other pics with the 2 #15's were taken the same day.
I have a few more as well.
