A handmade EDM Gary Kendrick made in the early 1990s...
This was a Magazine article in "Radio Controlled Model Cars" Magazine in the early 90's on Gary Kendrick's eastern Dirt Modied. Richard Dowdy was the Editor back then who wrote this article. The pictures where taken on the Beaches of California for this article, which Richard himself took the pictures. ( This Car was all hand lettered with One shot by Gary Kendrick) I thought you might enjoy this as well. not only a 4 bar car but you can see the tiny W-link on the rear axle!!

1/8th scale....I remember when those articles came out. I thought I was so cool because I saw them at my hometrack beforehand. What a silly kid I was and still am because I'm going to finally get my Kendrick's car after all these years...Good find Ratfink.

Yes John it was shortly after that article that Alan bought the rights to be the American Distributor for KRP. It was cool to meet all the cutomers and race with them there at A&S:)

Jeff, better tell him to get on this site....rally up the troops! I would love to hear from him. I don't know if he'll remember me by name but tell him Ray Baxter's (big guy from A&S with the big mouth) son John said hi. If he still doesn't remember, we were the ones that moved to Missouri and still ordered a body or two off him.

wait a minute

I think thats what I like so much about the car. Everything I've ever had I had the #15.
Football, go-carts, streetstock, T&L, And anything I ever raced in R/C.

That is a sweet car though.

yes Ross you are correct I did paint the BRP logos....I used to love challenges;) lol I got so that the smaller the logo and lettering the more I wanted to bang it off! :D

Thanks guys there is video of this car being built from frame to body and drive train along with painting the numbers...hard to believe this was all done back in 92...wow memories...I feel old...lol Oh and all the lettering is done on the OUTSIDE with One Shot sign lettering enamel! OLD SCOOL STYLE...right ross?
