Do you guys have a preferred method of preventing balooning of the tires? By balooning I refer to the expansion in circumference that occurs at high engine rpms.

I race a E.D.M. and use 2.22 stricker street thread(controled tire) I turn them inside out and clean them then I tape the inside (duct tape) once only...good luck , they work very good for me It keeps the thread flater.good luck :tire: :tire: :tire:

The tape method mentioned above seems to work about the best. Belting them like that is not required all the time but for some of the higher speed high bite tracks it can be beneficial.
