Rob:
Is there anyway to get a copy of the instructions for an Intimidator GBX, wheter a copy or a file of some sort. When I purchsed my Intimidator used from someone, it had a battery tray that was flat, it did not have the cutouts or scallops for the battereis. Someone had said he thought they was a part from a Dominator. Is that true and do you still make those flat style trays because they are the perfect size t hold the O5ion Li-po's and a few people at my local track are jealous of that battery tray since they also run tli-po's. My car supposedely was purchase from Brian Landgraff at the Open Wheel Champs a bout 2 years ago and it came with that battery tray. Please let me know about the instructions because I am in the process of rebuilding my car over the winter.
Thanks,

Robert,
Here is a link to the .pdf version of the manual you are looking for:
http://www.customworksrc.com/manuals/0916_manual_web.pdf
The battery cradle you mention was a prototype that was made a few years ago when we first started to see some of the larger cells that were coming out. The main problem with it was that with it being flat the battery strap is the only thing that held the cells from moving front to back in the car. The strap alone proved to be to weak to retain the pack in even a moderate frontal impact. The fact that the lipo pack you are refering to is flat, means that it would use the aluminum strap mount as the main source of restraint and the strap becomes a secondary source. I beleive I may still have a few of them around here somewhere. Knowing that the Lipo fits in there is good news, to be honest we have not messed with those too much yet. I'll make you a deal. Send me your address and I will get you a few replacements out asap. As far as the other guys at the track tell them they can order:
part #3223 Li-Po BATTERY CRADLE retail price $4.50
