Hello Fellow Dirt Oval Racers.
Question? Can someone enlighten me as to why I have to Login everytime I visit dirtoval.com? I always check the ... remember me? box everytime but I have to still Login each time a come back here. Am I not doing something that I should? I'm a long time member (#350) of this site. HELP!

So that would be ctrl+alt+drunk, LOL!
There is an "allow cookies" setting I think under Tools-Internet Options-Advanced Tab. That shoud be check to allow them. Cookies are the info you computer stores about the sites you visit, including remember my password options.

Guys. To those that have responded .. Thanks! However I'm still not doing something right. I've read FAQ several times. I can't re-Register which reads about "automaticully accept cookies". That doesn't work. Neither has other suggestions about "Cookies".
On every visit to DO.com I have to reenter my User Name and Password to login. Arhhhhhhh!

Cecil, what browser, version and operating system are you on?
Have you cleared the brower cache the browser cookies and started clean with your browser?
Are you going to www.dirtoval.com or dirtoval.com? They seem to have separate browser cookies now, for some reason...

After last weeks shutdown, I too had the same problem only worse. Not only did it ask me to login everytime I came here, It wouldn't let me and it was really starting to get me down. I read the post on what to do about members with AOL(me me me ), Delete cookies and history on the Internet options settings of my browser and voilla, Now I can get on here anytime I like, Strange thing is, All the other forums that I'm a member of were working fine then I had to re-register with all of them too. Hmm, That must've been because of them darn cookies. Now I'm hungry for some oreo's. ?:p

You can clear and delete individual cookies in your browser if you know what you are looking for, but anyone that had problems with their log-ins enough to ask to begin with, probably wouldn't be very comfortabe rooting around inside of a list of site cookies, looking for all of the DODC parts. It's a lot less complicated to just delete them all and start fresh with all of your logins and passwords. It's probably better to clear them out every once in a while anyway, just to make sure that you don't have some lingering site cookies from other sites snooping around for your information.
