Looks better than that smashed up one I saw a couple weeks ago at the short track nats.
Have you started on one for me yet? I'll call you tonight. LOL

Tailslide, it is a chassis that I build myself.
Eugene, as you can see, its a different color! Actually, its the same cage. I fixed it and added some extra bracing and it should be just fine now and it only added a couple of ounces so it is still a pretty light car. I think we have a few details to work out on yours before I can start. I have 3 more to build for local guys.
Thanks for the compliment John. Hope to see you in a few weeks at INDY for the DODC race. Guess I better get some smaller wings built.

Are you selling them? Are you making the cages or the whole car? This is deffinatly the best looking sprint car I've seen. Great work!

Thanks for the compliments Tailslide. I just build them when I get the chance. I am much too slow to build up a stock or anything. The kit consists of a set of wings with alum centers, a cage, set of nerf bars, graphite bottom plate and shock towers and a parts list. You hit on what makes it so fun for me.....looking realistic! It just is not as much fun for me if it doesnt look realistic so I am trying to make the most competitive car I can while trying to maintain some realism. I dont want it to just be the best looking car at the track, I want it to be capable of winning as well. I have 3 to build for local guys right now and maybe 1 going somewhere in Illinois (ha,ha) so I am a little back logged. I enjoy building them and seeing them at the track but I only got so much time.

Jeff's cars are the most realistic I have ever come across. The big plus to Jeff's cars are that that are also extremely competitive. I have run one of his cars all summer and would not trade it for any thing. Keep up the good work Jeff!

Jeff, I didn't realize you built and sold your cars, I might be interested in a kit. Could you PM me with a price and details. Thanks, John

i dont really want to be a spoiler, because your car looks great. Im sure it runs great also.
but just looking at the pic you posted, that car wouldn't be legal for any kind of sactiond racing. If im not mistaken, all sprint cars are required to have headers on the car at the location of the engine. only exception that i have seen is for nitro, where the left side header may be omited or removed if its in the way of the actual exhaust pipe.

Putting a lexan header on the right side wouldn't be hard.

All of Jeff's car's are DODC legal. Just have to change the top wing and add a lexan header to the right side body panel. Legal as you can get.

Somewhere in Illinois huh? Gee, I wonder where that might be?
I got to drive one of these cars at the Short Track Nats in OK a couple weeks ago. All I can say, hooked up. The car drives great and looks Killer!!
Animal, I'm sure a smaller wing can be put on this car, and I don't think Craig will turn anyone away that doesn't have a right side header. I've ran mine in Pheonix, Jacksonville, Mansfield, and Newville so far and no problems with tech.

header required??? not sure I have heard that before. Not saying there are some local tracks that require them .. but, I don't see that in the rules for the nitro tour?
Jeff --- as usual your car looks great >>>>
Maybe you should show some pictures of your solid front end car :)

i believe the right side header is a coopers open wheel champs rule.

The right side header rule is a Coopers/CW deal for the big race in December. Right now Jeff's car's are using a 7 X 7 top wing which isn't DODC legal. It is no big deal to change to a 6 X 6 DODC legal wing, just minor setup changes.
