well Phil has earned the title! he makes it look so easy! the best racer i have ever seen, and by far the classiest racer, makes his rounds every week shaking hands of all the racers. even if his cars paint jobs are boring...712 told me to say that..lol

What body is he using on the GBX Edm? It looks nice but would like more shots of it from different angles. I know he's not shy about giving advice or answering questions so maybe one of you guys out east could get a base line set-up and some shots of his car without the body. I know we have some rookies that would appreciate the help.

Ross: Thanks for the compliments I appreciate it.
almxdup: I would be glad to help in any way I can. Just let me know what information you are looking for and hopefully I can be of some assiatance. As far as the body goes, it is as Nick said one of his. Nick worked hard for me trying to get a balance that I felt complimented the cars handling characteristics. I know I was a pain during this process because I am very demanding and I am always looking to squeak every ounce of performance out of a body. Believe me the final product was well worth it and if anyone is looking for a body for their GBX give Nick a call.
Big Daddy Doc Love: I can't imagine being anywhere else that week - are you going to be in the house?

Howdy Fella's...It's been a while The plan is to be there for "Dirt Nation". Host, Dave Seay has been awesome about allowing me to include RC with in my weekly reports on several occasions this summer. Dave has given me the green flag to include the Open Wheel Race. RC Car Mag has shown some interest, so looks like I'll be doing some mag work as well for this event.
I can not express to all of you just how much it would mean to me to announce this event again. I honestly do miss all of my RC dirt oval motorheads in and around this event.......Mr. Coopers place is nothing short of magical when it comes to the thrill of competition.

Phil
I pitted next to you at Coopers a few years ago and was going to go this year until Howard B. decided to get married.LOL I think we might have a decent sized group going after this year. Most of the group has gotten settled down and can plan more long range stuff. You were very informative as far as setup and things. I was more pointing towards the other questions asked frequently on this board as setups go. Offroaders and Pancar racers show their winning rides and was just trying to give most racers a different view of your cars. I know youi don't have any super secret tricks but just common sense alot of the time. If I do have any specific questions you know I'll shoot you an e-mail.

I want the same body as Phil runs when you get to painting up my new lid. I will be putting it on my GBX.

Kieth,
Phil didnt post those pics of his cars. I took them for him on the last day at ray's Place. I only had a couple shots, if i had anymore i would have gladly posted them here. As far as Phil he is one of the best guys i have met racing. As good as he is you'd think he would be cocky or a jerk , quite the opposite. Phil will help anyone with anything. My favorite thing about watching him drive a car is when he will take someone elses car for few laps. It takes him like 5 laps and then he running the same groove as if it were his own car. Unreal!
