how can i thin or even cut like groves in to foam tires?

if you dont have a tire truer use a drill in a jig or a drill press and then use an exacto knife you dont want to cut very deep maybe 1/8 of an inch you can always go back an do more when the tires wear down

I use a dremel with a cutoff whell arbor. I use a .010-.020 thin piece of shim stock or feeler gage and put a small hole in it the size of the screw in the arbor. Then grind or cut with a tin snips so it is square or octagon shaped just a little bigger than the arbor. That way it doesnt cut to deep, and you can go much faster.

I Find That Dremel Makes Two Small Cutters An Work Fine . For Cross Cuts An A Hack Saw Blade While In The Truer Works Well
