Are there other arms that can be used on the terminator? If so, are they exactly like the aluminum a-arms. I have some but the shock mounts are not exactly the same.

Geo - I have the arms from dynotech - the bottom holes for the shock mounts are different than the ones on the alum arms. I think it is hindering my courner speed. They do seem to be very tough though.

I'm looking for an alternative that doesn't cost $40 and you do not have to worry if they are bent or not.

Try DRP. He had lots of aluminum arms before I left. They are the correct dimensions.

Dynotech has replacement arms, but they are not exact duiplicates of the original aluminum arms.

As far as the entry speed(corner speed), don't forget the after installing the arms you have just lost a substantial amount of front end weight, going from aluminum to plastic.

If there are more people that want exact duplicates of the originals, I would consider making a batch.

Thank you,

Chad Smith

Hi Chad

I think there are alot of people in my area that would like an exact replacement. I have a question though. Why did you make the change? Was it for a specific type of setup?

Thanks

I was given an aftermarket aluminum a-arm for the Terminator(not the original) and was asked to make it solid for mounting positions on the top of the arm.

I'm not sure who's it was beacuse I don't run a Terminator?

I'll see what I can do for another rev. of the Terminator arm, you guys want it completely the same?

Chad

I talked to Walt's Hobby shop - they may be interested in buying the terminator a-arm. They would want it an exact match.

Matt & Reggie - you need to move quick on the replacement arms (I can talk with you more about this)

DRP Does have aluminum that's lighter then the origanal Terminator arms. They will be offered in delrin as well within the next 2 weeks. Look for a whole line of new parts from DRP for terminator as and DRP 2006x car. Everything will be available at Coopers.
