Would an older belt driven RS4 Pro3 be competetive or even usable on dirt oval tracks? Just wondering since my nitro rs4 tends to get rocks jammed in the rear drive belt while Im out paking lot bashing.

Well I guess the answer to the question is can it yes, will it yes, does it need some modification yes. There is a belt driven Sprintcar on dirt oval why not a HPI. I happen to have a HPI nitro Sprintcar but is drive shaft driven. If debris in the belt is the only issue you have than I would try to find some way to deflect the debris away from the belt using lexan or something. Limit the amount of places the debris can get to the belt if you can not shield it all the way.

Thats pretty much what I had in mind. Im going to try to box in the belts and diffs with some lexan to avoid any problems. Other than that I dont see why it wouldnt work. Im not really sure what everyone runs here locally yet. Figured that since i have one anyways, it wont hurt to try it out.
