CW rubber tires...any tricks?

Are you guys hooking up pretty good with out of the box CW rubber tires? I just picked up a set and they feel like they will work awesome, just wanted to hear if you guys have any secrets. We have two tracks here, one hard packed, one a little looser...I have a feeling the loose one will require some mini pins.

You want to scuff up the new tires, and then rub some PB Blaster on them. Keep them in a plastic bag, but make sure to not let them sit in a puddle of the PB Blaster as they will balloon up if they do. Once they soften up, just keep them clean and store them in
baggies. There are lots of products to soften tires with, but PB Blaster is only $2 a can and will soften a dozen or so tires.
