What does a diff eliminator do for you? How if at all does it affect the car? Seems like you are losing something that purposely slips. Is this possibly screwing me up as in question 1, spinning out?
thanks

I assume you are talking about a slipper eliminator. The slipper wouldnt have anything to do with your question about spinning out, not in the way you put it anyway. The slipper is designed to per say soak up the torque of an engine. If you have a really slippery track, a slipper clutch may be a benefit for you. If you have a track with really good bite, and you have the slipper clutch cranked on there so it in no way can slip, than its just a waste of revolving weight.

Thanks. That is what I thought. The LHS guy said it was to reduce rotating mass. I did think it would hurt on a slick track. Supposedly it's going to be hooked for the Labor Day race.
I think I'll put the slipper back in there.

I recommend leaving the slipper clutch on your GSX. The track will have massive bite for the Labor Day weekend race, but will run loose for most other races you might run. Even on the high bite track, the advantage gained by running the slipper eliminator will be minimal. Having that tool at your disposal (to limit wheel slip as needed) outweighs the small reduction in rotating mass. Come by and see me sometime at a local race and I would be glad to answer any other questions you may have about the car.
