Help please. I'm looking for somebody to help me with some basic set-up for an 1/8 scale buggy that i want to try to run un the oval.
What shock oil?
What diff weight?
What spring rates?
Starting points for toe?
And any other info would be great.
Thanks in advance.

What 1/8 buggy are you trying to set? This is fron my Mugen MBX5 setup that I run on oval that wins almost every week. 120,000 10,000 1,000 front center rear diff oil's. 35 weight shock oil all the way around. Stock springs. I will post camber and toe in when I get home.

Why are you running 120,000 in the front and 1,000 in the rear? It looks like you would be real loose in the rear. I am trying to find a good set-up also.

If you try that setup and it is too loose for you go up with the diff oil in the rear. It will be different from buggy to buggy. It works for me.

It depends on the type of surface your on either moist clay or loose dirt. If its clay I would try to lock the center diff. Then you can work on each end to fine tune. It also depends on what kind of body your running. I should have my new late model body ready to ship next week. Check back for more info.
