In a separate post a number of people chimed in about cutting the chassis. How about other changes.

I was thinking about using Associated caster blocks. The steering spindls boocks from the kit are quite a bit smaller than the RPM spindle blocks and needs to be shimmed to get it to fit. Has anyone tried this?

What about changing the rear toe blocks? Any difference when running dirt oval?

What about the best location to start for camber link holes on the front end, moving the shock location or other enhancements to the steering geometry?

What about HPI touring car shocks vs. the Associated ones?

What about enhancements to the transmission? Anyone using lightweight gears or ceramic bearings? Did you feel a difference?

Other Stuff?

well with the smaller caster blocks uyou have to use shims for a reason its all about adjustibility hard to explain on here but you can move the shims to move your whole tire forward or backwards. take your camber links to the top shock tower bolt you may have to move your steering rack back but it will be ok i moved mine back.i havnt tried changing the rear blocks yet but with talkin to arnie fie yesterday he gave me some ideas to try and i will have to let you know on the results
