When i come out of the corner, my left rear doesnt get full traction on the ground witch makes my car turn left then it catches and i go straight. My friend travis helped me by putting my lr shock all the way in on top and bottom which helped alot. But i want to be competitive and its not perfect. it still does it if i get off my line just little bit to the low side. Im running a medium sway bar, would a stiffer one help this or would it make it worse.

Chad, I don't mean to hog your posts and I encourage others to chime in.
Take a limiter out of the left shock so that the shock is a bit longer . If you don't have limiters inside the shock then unscrew the shock end a full turn to get the added length.

1st i would go back to having both rear shocks in the same mounting postion, level the rear bones and get rid of the sway bar (that alone will make it loose coming out)
after all that run the car if it is still loose coming off either put some preload on the left rear or take some out of the right. remember just a bit at a time as this will affect the car in other parts of the corners.
also tires are a big role in trraction.
without anymore added info thats the best info i can give.

Im worried about putting the shock back becuase that move helped, and as far as the sway bar, i cant take that off, i dont know if u know this but im running a losi bk2, they push like a bitch. So thats why i have that there, now maybe taking out the limiter in my LR and putting back to the hole it was might even out for the change i jsut made which would even out my dogbones. Travis do you think that is true. But say i did that, twisted you say to put some preload in the left rear and take some out of RR, which would make since but im not the best at making those kind of adjustments.

Chad it sounds like your car is a touch tight and the left rear is not getting enough traction as well right? I know that combo sounds funny to others but our track just has so much bite. To compicate things even further though..there are some bumpy parts of the track to tune for as well.
Also we haven't even brought this up...what compound tires are you running? MM told me that he liked the bsr pink rr tire he ran....that might be something to try as well.

Thats why the ministock was retired. It kept wanting to turn over in the corners. Bad car bad! Now go over there and lay down.

Often when you make a change and it helps the car it's only telling you which way you need to go to correct the problem.Moving the rear shock in makes that corner softer,so moving it back to where it was and putting a softer spring on it may make the car better.I will always try to get the car as good as possible "square" and use corner bias at the very end as a fine tuning step-you can get the car to go around the track and be fast with all four corners different but it will usually be quirky and hard to drive. But I will tweak one corner at a time to see which direction I need to go.One thing that has helped me a lot is to have someone else drive my car so I can get right down at track level and see what it is doing-you might find that it is rolling too much,or has too much camber change and is riding up on the inside edge of the tire(or something completly different). And often doing the right thing requires that you do something else in order to make it work.Example-you might need to move the battery back, and soften the front springs-or move it forward and change the anti-squat.Having the correct geometry is the most important thing in oval, and off-road cars have the wrong geometry for oval,so what works for a purpose built oval car may not work for an off-road based car.Back to your specific problem,I assume from your icon that you are running foams so the track should be tacky.I use a rear sway bar on the loose track but I didn't like it on the tacky track,it just wouldn't come out of the corner right. Here's a few things to try(if you haven't already)
Lengthen and/or "flatten"the rear camber links(make them more parallel to the arms)-this will stiffen the rear, and help both sides "work together".If it makes the car too loose then try softer rear springs,or lower both sides evenly.
Put the front susp. in the wide position and the rear in the narrow position-should help steering overall.
Put the drag link in the low ackerman position(outer holes in the bellcranks)-should give more steering overall.(check for bump steer)
Add some positive camber in the left rear.If it stops the inside tire spinning on exit and makes it push more on power, then raise the rear ride height evenly on both sides,or move the battery forward.
A good starting point is to set the ride height so the bones are level in the rear and then set the front so the chassis is level. If you make one full turn of a shock collar on any given corner and it makes the car better but not enough, and another turn makes it better still, put it back where you started and change the spring. If you get to a point where the car is loose all the way around(entry, middle, exit)try turning the steering dual rate down before making another chassis change-it may be just right with less steering angle(and really fast!).It's a continual back and forth process but in the end you should be able to get the car to where it is easy to drive and smooth all the way through the corner without having more than one step difference side to side in spring rate.None of this is the gospel truth and I'm sure there is a completly different approach that will work just as well, but this is has worked for me.good luck!

Chad your asking alot of questions faster than you learn the answers and understand what the results would be to the car when trying suggestions out.
Take baby steps, your a good driver and you will learn but, I think you are trying to learn too much too fast. As the old saying goes slow down you will go faster.
just come over and talk to me at the track. I can explain things alot better in person than behind a keyboard.

sounds good thanks for the help. I have thought of a few things i should do to make it come out more evenly and all this talk is jsut letting me learn more about oval. I dont think i asked ? that was faster tahn what i could learn. I ahve it on video take and i believe if i can fix this little prob then i can go even faster and the car will be better. Ill talk to u kip on sat for a few suggestions. I jsut know i can be faster and ill work with it this weekend. I see this weekend as a good time to tweak my car cus everyone knows its not to bad. Im just trying to get it how i like it before the nats in two weeks so. I wont ever learn if i dont ask. thanks again
