Wanted to send a 'nice to meet you' and 'thank you' to the crew in Monee --- what a great event ... great track ... great people .... and the racing was incredible. I am sure there are other events that have that level of quality from top to bottom but it was new for our crew.

Fast cars, clean racing ..... good people .... what else can you ask for?

A couple of thoughts:

How cool is the National Anthem and the flag on the car to start the day ?

How cool is the way they start the races and the checkered flag at the end of the heats ?

I would pay to watch Arnie Fie drive a racecar.

How many years has Dieter been that good?

How many people have had the question answered (including me) ... can a Stock Klein run up front at one of the high bite tracks ???? One helluva a weekend for the Klein crew. and Chris Cramer is growing into a great racer.

How cool is it to race with your son ..... and then have your dad out qualify you? I think you know who that is for :)

Has anyone seen a car come on the pipe harder that Chad Smith's winged car?

How can you not love how the 1/8 guys race sooooo clean and help each other ? that is one cool group.

When is someone going to put Camfield in a 1/10 car :)

Is it cool or what to watch Mr. Moody still get it around the track at a good pace ....?

Craig Frase drives his arse off and gets in the "A"

Hobina (sp) ... has to have the neatest stable of cars in the country.

And last but not least the "iron cactus' served us well

Hope to be able to come back --- that was a neat weekend.

How many years has Dieter been that good?

I found videos from 1983 when my brother and I first started racing R/C cars when James was running a 4wd Yokomo SE off road. He was that good, then, too.

It was nice to meet you, Dan, and all of the Texas guys this weekend. Finally able to put faces and voices with identities on the forums. Glad you guys had a good time. Maybe I'll have my car done before next year's race. :D
