Yeah. There isn't really anywhere to run oval in Southern Indiana, this is probly the only 1/8 scale modified, but I'm trying to get it rollin. I Based my design of McAllister's Mini EDM and made it look like the real ones that are ran at the local tracks around here in hopes of sparking some interest.

TeamHoagie53, there is a dirt oval in Mitchell, IN at P&T Hobbies. They don't run 1/8 but run 1/10 elect. all winter indoors starting around OCT. They have open sprint, modified oval and novice oval. 2 of my boys run latemodel and i have a edm that we run novice oval and my other boy runs open sprint. Modified oval class is a mod. motor class, you can run any body except for sprint body. only about an hour or less from you. NICE LOOKING CAR!!

I've been to Paul's a few times, a while back. Nedpepper's Hobbies opened an indoor offroad up about a year or two ago, and it was only 15 min or so from my house. So I haven't had much of a chance to get up there again. He closed his indoor now, and is moving to a new location to build a huge outdoor track. Maybe I'll get up there (to PnT) this winter. Have to find something electric though! All I got is Nitro.[/size]

Would anyone be interested in this very inexpensive way to convert your 1/8 scale? I am going to make another proto for myself that is a solid piece over the top, w/a separate rear deck insert to carry all the airflow out over the wing. A kit would include only those two pcs. w/all the hardware needed to attach it to the buggy body of your choice. The body would be pre cut (less the wheel wells) and bent. Just let me know.

Thanks, Derrick

I think they can be done for about $30 + Sh&H. Won't know until I get mine done, but I think you can bet on it. To me that doesn't seem bad, and others that I have talked to thought it was cheap. Give me your opinion though. Remember it comes, basicly, ready-to-paint. I'll even mask out the windows.
