Looking for foam tires to mount on my B4 EDM. Do the custom works wheels/tires fit? I know several guys have tried to mount the TM wheels and tires but had problems. They don't label any of them for B4 just RC10 or B2/B3.
Thanks,
Paul G.

The fronts fit. The rears you have to use a wheel spacer made by C/W or Dynotech. I can help with everything you need. http://ohiohobbyplus.com/page4.html

Another option is cut the rear hub for clearance, that is what I did on my nitro tmr b4 sprint to run cw foams.

Race4ever, I went to that link but I didn't see any adaptors. Has anybody had any luck with using the TM wheels and tires? If so which ones did you use?

I just trimmed the hubs a liitle and used custom works wheel spacers .125 thick and custom works foams and it worked great Here is a link to the page with the spacers id you use the .150 spacers I think you could avaoid the trimming.

Anybody run the TM tires/wheels on the B4. If so, which ones did you use? They don't make any specifically for the B4.
Thanks,
Paul

The problem w/ TM wheels is that they are really made for the old 1/4" tapered RC10 axles. The ones that are labeled for the B2/B3/Losi, are just the same wheels w/ the center drilled out to accept the 3/16" straight axles...these fit very loose on the B2/B3 axles.
The off-set is also incorrect for the B2/B3, but they should clear the B4 hub carriers. What you could do (assuming that you have CVDs) is buy 4, 1/4 x 3/8 UNFLANGED bearings and "old school" RC-10 axles for the CVDs...if you are set on the TM wheels. This will make your car quite wide.
You could always buy B4 wheels, cut the ribs off them and mount your own foam. I think somone has been selling that sort of setup....maybe Speed Racing Products???

another option for foam tires is get a hold of ray at speedy's
http://speedysracingparts.com/
he mounts foams on stock b4 wheels. they aren't listed on his site now, but he does make them. i run them quite often on my tmr, and his prices are awesome. one of the best things about using these over the cw's(which i also use) is if your at a track that you may have to run buggy tires for the first round, you can swap to foams w/out needing a gear change.
