My TC3 and now TC4 is set up with Silver front buggy springs on the front, green front buggy springs on the back. 40wt shock oil all around. Everything else is set right were the manual has it when you first build it. Alot depends on the track conditions but the above is a baseline setup that will get you started. Hope this helps

what kind of track are you running on and rubber or foam tires? i got a decent one for a banked foam tire track, but it's not so basic.

I've been running my TC3 with the McAllister Hagerstown body in Ocala Fl. and it's working pretty good.

1. 50wt oil in the rear with TC3 green springs and TM Magenta foams.

2. 40wt oil in the front with a silver TC3 spring on the left front and a blue Tc3 on the right with TM Plaid foams.

3. I have a rear shock tower on the front also so that the same shock mounting angle can be used. Shocks are mounted in the center hole on the tower and the outer holes on the arms. The droop screws are not removed but backed off all the way.

4. Camber is adjusted for tire wear and I have 2 degrees left front caster and 4 right. On the rear I have the 2+2 blocks but the 3+2 would probably settle the car down some.

5. They dont currently allow side dams so the body is run only with the molded in rear spoiler and the little winglet side pieces. It flies but could be a little more stable on initial turn in. With this setup it actually slides into the turn like a real latemodel and comes off the corners like a rocket and is a blast to race. It's the most fun I have ever had with my touring car. Bar none.

I think side dams would be good for another tenth or two but the car still cruises without it. One day I'll swervo tape one on to see but until then I'll just be throwing it sideways and watcing it take that long sliiiiiiiiiiide into the turns. Man thats cool!

i don't know if you have ever tried it david but you could try a tighter front diff or even a front spool. it seems to tighten the car up a little bit entering the corner and it will give you a bunch of forward bite coming off of the corner. it sounds pretty cool that they don't allow airdams, and i think that they should'nt because it will turn into a horsepower race if they do. just something to think about.

Thaks for the info - I used to run a CW Dominator back in the old days - I thought I might also try a spool in back and a one way in front similar tothe Dom
