offset batteries vs. inline

Which is better for a late model or edm, offset batteries or inline in the center of the chassis? (Advantages and Disadvantages)

offset give you more left side bias, and higher cross weight. which could equal higher turning speeds, and possibly be a little harder to setup, and drive if your not used to it.

center mounted more evenly ballenced car, easier to drive, not quite as much corner speed, usually easier to setup and handle.
