I was looking for ideas on glueing tires. I have a sprint car that I am runing on a high banked clay track. Most of the guy's are running compound 23 or 27, and I will be mouting them on b2/b3 wheels. I have been told that just using thin ca and they will come apart. Before I mount the several sets of tires I have I thought I would get some suggestions on gluing them properly so they stay glued. Thank you for any Ideas.

Thanks Jason. I did not know about the rubberized ca. I had heard something about useing shoe goo on the tire were it meets the rim. Is this trade secret or what?

No secrete ! I use a bowl just big enough to fit the tire and rim in and I put in 50% LACQUER THINNER and 50% Household GOOP (in the purple tube) and I stir them together .Then just dip the outside edge of the tire and rim in the mix . The glue will be pretty thin so let it dry and repeat 2 or 3 times per ,rim but only on the outside edge.THIS WILL KEEP THE DIRT FROM EATING AT THE CA.

Thanks, I think that was what I had herd before. I've done my share of ripping side walls out of my NTC3 tires I'm sure this will help
