Curious if anyone has tried a different engine mount on a GSX ? Not that anything is wrong with the one that comes in the kit ... just curious what others might have tried.

Yeah, I have been thinking about using the NTC3 mounts in the sprinter because I hate the metric bolts. Kind of a silly thing to do in an entirely U.S.-made English Standard kit.

I'm going to have new motor mounts made for the 4-stroke with standard threads.

To be honest ... I like to have my spare engines mounted up ready to drop in... and I was hoping I could use something that I already have.... :)

I personally like the 3mm bolts that came with it ... IMO ... much better than the AE stuff that we have to dremel :)

I like the 3mm also. I am curious about why three slots and three mounting holes, and only the outside two line up???? Using four is OK, but I would like the comfort of having all six in. The inside holes are off by 1.5mm or more.

I don't own or carry carry any Metric tools or screws. It's a pain in the ass if you don't have a history of running foreign cars. I wish everyone would get on the same page and make all cars metric already. GM and Ford can do it, why can't companies like Associated?
