Does anyone have any problems with CustomWorks tires balooning and tearing up the latemodel and edm bodies?? Even with proper wheelwell clearance the tires still seem to get into the body. Suggestions appreciated. This only occurs with our gas cars.

Surgical tape , Duct tape or fishing line all works well.

tmr22,

What do you mean by this statement? I think I understand what to do with the fishing string but what about the tapes? Thanks.

Tape the inside of the tire to keep it from growing.

I bought a OS 12 cvr motor to run on a associated gt with striker tires on a 245 degree clay oval. What gear would you recommend?

What does that have to do with ballooning tires?

I think Dental Floss works really well, on your teeth too.
