What would be a good starting point for a hard packed, slightly banked oval track with an edm or truck? thanks :)

just keep ajusting till your tires are wearing evenly. once you accomplished that you have the correct camber.

since all tracks banking are differnt, no one exact camber setting is correct from track to track. they may be close, and work at the track, but most racers get the final setting by trial and error, and tireware.

your main handleing concern needs to be your roll center, and your caster.

That's right!!

TIP:

A little trick you can use to aid in getting your camber set right and fast is to mark a line acrossed your front tires and run a few laps.

Next, check to see if there is any line left on the front tires.

Adjust camber according and repeat until you have no line left on the tire.

This mite help, I try to allways have one or more neg. camber on the right side and one or more pos. camber on the left side for a start. Like they say you start there and watch your tires for where. I also found out that ever tire has a diff. roll over like a striker tire rolls over more then a dur-trax tire does. Thats if you are running rubber tires and harder foam in the tire stop the tire from rolling over. Hope that helps alittle.
