I was at Oswego Speeday recently for a 100 lap super mod event and I noticed a Super mod driver name that really sounded familiar. His name was (is) David (Dave) Gruel. I think there was someone that raced RC cars by that name.
I was wondering if it was the same guy? If it was, he sure got alot of money for his RC equip to race super mods!LOL!!! he didnt do all that bad I think he finished 6th.
The car number was #18. They also said he was from Auburn and I think that guy that raced RC cars was from Auburn. I didn't get to see him in the pits afterward being so many people (alot of people around his pits too!) he raced GREAT, clean, and patient and probably why he finished 6th. He didn't have a good enough car though for the top 3.
