Has any one used the data recorders to tune performance of their car ?

I reviewed it for the magazine a while ago and use it a fair amount. Its actually really nice for oval because you can compare rpm to speed and power usage and see how much you pinch in the corners. You can make adjustments and compare your cornering to your last run. With oval its really good because it make a more steady (easier to follow) graph.

A teammate of mine used it and got ALOT of usefull info about his car and it's operation during the race. The biggest of them was he needed a reciever pack in his pan car to keep the reciever fed during a race.
