Yup, I got another Losi XXXNT Sport RTR, and trucks aren't my thing, soooooo, considering I'm possessed by the "LATEMODEL" virus, I decided to design a ground level competitve latemodel using the existing a-arms and tires/rims, and adding TC3 shock package, oh, and a new Diablo .12 which I picked up on sale for $60. By using the original arms and tires, I got a tread width of 12 inches, and designed a latemodel body to cover the XXXNT chassis. Using the TC3 shocks, and Factory Works new shock towers, I've got a latemodel that looks great, handles awesome, and is not quite a 1/10th scale, nor a 1/8th scale, it's a "Tweener" or as I call it, a "One-Niner." It's got a tracking width of a 1/8th scale, and wheel base of a 1/10th scale, and 2.2 Prolines all around. The best feature of this lil' diddy is the price, you can pickup a Losi XXXNT RTR for about $280, TC3 shocks $35, Shock towers, around $30, about a total of $350, and burn up dirt ovals, IN STYLE!! I'll post some pics of this "Mutant" tonight.

I had time to take two pics. The Bloomquist body is 1/8th scale.

I like the concept, but it could only be a club racer. There are no class rules it will fit into at 12". Put on narrower arms.........and you have something.

That's the excact jist of this thing: "A club racer" that most anyone can afford, and don't get me wrong, this thing really goes. It's an entry level, but, decent Latemodel to get track time with.

That could easilly turn into a spec class.

I think it would be awesome to see some more trucks converted like that.
