I just got an airbrush and I have never airbrushed before. I would like some tips on how to get the best results. And also I will be using Fascolor paints and was wondering if these needed to be thinnned out or not? Thanks

What kind of airbrush did you get? Depending on the airbrush and the tip will determine if you need to thin the paint or not. I use the Badger Anthem and don't need to thin it any. When useing the glitter I usually slid the needle back so it just sprays straight through. Also the Fascolor is the easiest paint in the world to clean up. One tip on doing flourescent colors, make sure to do like 4 or more thin coats then back with white. And always try to paint the darker colors before the lighter ones. Let me know if you need any more help, I've painted many bodies for people with Fascolor. Michael

With fascolor thinning depends on airbrush as well as desired look. There are many different tricks to the trade. make sure you get a good masking on stuff you don't want painted. That's the most important. Other wise colors will bleed through. Also a double action airbrush makes things a lot easier. Be patient and practice on some scrap lexan first. Get the feel of the airbrush. Practice painting thin lines that go thick or thick that go thin. This will get you use to the flow of paint from the airbrush. if you have any questions feel free to email me. thanks.
