V2 motor guestion

I have a team orion based V2 modified motor and when i cut the comm. and put it back together there is a red light that comes on in the inside off the brush hood when you put power to it. Is this normal or did I do something wrong? I did not put new brushes in the motor, could that have something to do with it?

Red light means the polarity is hooked up right. The cobalt motors have a blue light.

That light was always there... you may have just not noticed it before. :)
