1/8 Scale Sprint Car

Just curious, did anybody actually purchase and receive one of the 1/8 scale gas sprint cars from the guy that lived in canada that had built them years ago? Some time last year he was "taking orders" for cars as he was going to start building them again.

I have a couple of these cars.
1 gas 1electric....Both are Dirt Modifieds...(EDM).
Don't have any pic's to post but they run well.These cars were built 5-6 years ago.
As far as i know that was the last time they were built,probably 100-200 of these cars out their.
They are built well,easy to tune. The closest i've seen as far as the body detail is some of the cars from Kipps.these cars are better then what i've seen so far.
Why no more were built?

Last I spoke with him he had cancer, It was about 15 years ago. I guess he recovered. My dealings were not good. I think if I were you guys I'd use caution! He's bad news in my book. Just my input, Lou Cicconi
