Im wanting to convert my B4 into a part time oval EDM car - meaning I dont want to hack it up. how much "hacking" will i need to do to the B4 or the body to get the McAllister body to fit? Anybody ever put one of their mini EDM bodies on an RC18t?

I am building one out of a XXX, and have only had to cut some to get the body to fit around the front shock tower. As for the rear, the body mounts to the rear wing mounts and the lines supplied for cutting out the rear wheels was right on.

I'm not sure about the MaAllister EDM body, but I use a EDM body from Kipp's Hobbies on my B4 with good results. The body needs to be trimmed to fit through the front shock tower. I made my own front and rear body mounts, without altering the stock mounts. It can be changed back to a buggy with the stock body in less than 5 minutes. PM me or e-mail me if you want some pics and more info.

As far as the rc18t goes , I tried one and it is nearly impossible toget it to fit without cutting out way too much of the front end.McAllister does make a wedge body that fits great with tc3 rear body mounts.I ended up folding my own. sorry no picture.

I put a CDKm EDM body on my xxxke buggy. I made some mounts for the front and rear to get the posts out to the corners to make it more stable.

Just realized I never posted pics of the finished product...not happy at all with the paint outcome but I figure if I post the ones I really dislike it will inspire me to take my time on the next one lol
