This is Kranzel's new silver graphite terminator. The chassis is supposed to be mad of thinner graphite so that the chassis has more flex. I think it looks really cool.

Bob, i thought you were gonna run foams this summer...

now my question is why would u want a thinner chassis with more flex? if u have a chassis that flexes that takes away from what the suspension does. i think the chassis material should be stiff and let the shocks and other parts on the car do the work.

yes and no mike, i like flex in my chassis.it acts as another "suspension system" so to speak.

Yea I said that Matt, but Im gonna run rubber tires again.

There are some thicker chassis available, as well in the new graphite (in upwards of .125"+).

Bob, you WILL run foams this summer, and you will be a man about it. Otherwise, I will hot-lap my GREASE-IMPREGNATED FOAMS ON YOUR T/A! Should get excellent traction on the windshield and hood!

Maybe the chassis flex is required to get those old suspension parts to work correctly. Must be a period thing....80s tires and 80s parts! LOL!

LOL, Jeff the summer season is still a long way away so there may be a chance that I try some foam tires.

If Bob wants to lead, then he'll have to run foam tires...simple enough.

As far as his relationship with Old McDonald and his barnyard buddies, well, that's just wrong. I know I overheard him say that he prefers lamb, not sheep...less wool.

A chassis that flex's?? WHY?? You can't adjust it and the car will change with age?? I hope you can get the black ones?

Rebob005
February 29th, 2004, 1:04 PM
Jim, That is what I heard that it did, but when I put everything together it diddnt seem to flex any more that the standard black one. I mainly bought it because it looks cool, I dont care if it works or not, LOL

...and that's why Bob runs rubber tires..."he doesn't care if it works, or not"!

Seriously, don't get your panties in a twist. Dave also has a .125" chassis, for those who like their chassis with a dose of Enzyte.

Uh, oh...it just came to me...the nickname of 2004...

"Hollywood Hile...all show, no go!"

Outstanding.

Who should you consult if your chassis stays stiff for more than 4 hours?

Right now he's probably getting ready to move from the golf course to the golf dome. After all, hitting 600-800 balls a week, has really improved his "ball strike"...his words, not mine! LOL!

ball strike, or ball stroke.... rupert's the master of both!

The last time I seen Rupert was at the WDRA race at Fountian when they raced on the carpet oval. Rupert was the one who convinced me to run foam tires, He would be proud I won the last BB stock race on walts outdoor track(with foam tires). If not for him i would still be running those eggo waffles.....

Maybe his holyness will post on this year old thread, LOL!!!!!
